Miss Miyagi Artisan Ice Cream

Branding, Logo

Miss Miyagi offers soft-served artisan ice cream in Cagayan de Oro City.

The main inspiration of the shop is Japan and to incorporate pop culture to it. The owner, who is also an artist, is known to be a fan of Japanese visual artist, Yayoi Kusama.

The main graphic element of the branding are mainly polka dots which are known to be the primary elements of Yayoi's art.

A custom-made logotype was made to reflect the quirky personality of the brand. Just like the act of sprinkling nuts and colorful  sugar strands to ice creams, the logo is sprinkled with dots, adding a Yayoi flare to it.

These are the main elements that also serves as a system in applying all of the collaterals. Miss Miyagi Artisan Ice Cream stands as an ice cream cart, or as the owner likes to call it, "Jeepney".
